Puneet Kharbanda ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Canadian Citizenship Study Guide: Unofficial mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use the App.
This App is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Government of Canada.
We do not require you to create an account.
We do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, or other personal profile information through the App.
We do not operate a backend account system for storing your quiz answers or progress.
The App stores your quiz history and progress locally on your device so features like progress tracking, scores, and recent results can work properly.
This local app data is not transmitted to us by the App.
The current Android build is configured with app backup disabled so this locally stored progress is intended to remain on your device rather than being backed up through Android cloud backup by the app itself.
If you want to remove locally stored progress data, you can clear the app's storage from your device settings or uninstall the App.
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. AdMob is a third-party service provided by Google.
Google and its partners may collect or process certain information in order to serve, measure, and improve ads. Depending on your device, region, and settings, this information may include:
We do not control how Google processes data collected through AdMob. That processing is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies.

Where required by law or platform policy, the App may present consent options related to advertising. Users in supported regions may also be able to manage their privacy choices from within the App.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the App.
Any locally stored progress data remains on your device. While we do not directly receive that data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document and publish the revised version at the privacy policy URL associated with the App.
